ALI : Japan TV Millenium Festival

Japan most famous television network ASAHI SHIMBUN held a week long Millenium Festival to give honour to the International Artist of Peace Ali started from the last evening of 1999 and the first dawn of the new century 2000 .   Ali visited Japan during the year of 1999 where he painted several of his master works including ' A Bird Of Peace '.

The Director of Asahi Shimbun network Mr. HIMEDA TADAYOSHI organized the millenium festival right in the heart of Tokoyo city to display the work of Ali using laser projectors in large size. The festival continued for more than a week showing the art of Ali.

Mr. Himeda Tadayoshi also hosted a dinner in the honour of Artist Of Peace Ali. The dinner of was also attended by the staff of the Television Network. Ali presented one of his painting 'A Deer' to Mr.Himeda Tadayoshi.

A large number of individuals and groups met with Ali during his stay in Japan. Among them was Mr. Saleem Hasnain, the director of Bashi Trading Co., Yokohama. Mr. Saleem was highly inspired by the art of Ali and he added two of his paintings 'Fisherman & His Wife' and 'Grape Harvest' in his private collection.
