La Route Du Sel is a Medieval traditional festival celebrated in France. In 1991 festival some 200 horses participated. In medieval times The Salt was carried on the horses to pay wages of the labourer in form of salt.

Ali voluntarely offered his services for the treatment of horses during the festival. The horses loved to be touch by the magical hands of Ali after a tiring day corss country.
